Southington Local Schools will be participating in the school-wide free lunch program beginning September 23, 2020 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2020.  (This was not the case, previously.)
Every student is eligible for a free breakfast and lunch.

Re-Entry Highlights

 Plans for Southington Local Schools students re-entry:
1.  All day everyday in person instruction beginning August 31, 2020.
2. The school day will be altered slightly. TENTATIVE TIMES ARE:
      High School (9-12) 7:25 am - 12:45 pm
      Middle School (6-12) 8:15 am - 1:30 pm
      Elementary School (K-5) 9:00 am - 2:20 pm 
3. Temperatures will be taken upon entry- Parents are ENCOURAGED to do a self-assessment at home.
4.  Facial coverings will be required on the school bus and at all times except when in the classroom where social distancing will occur.
5.  All Department of Health guidelines will be followed.
6.  On-line instruction will be available for parents who CHOOSE that option for their children. 
7.  Specific details will be posted early next week.
